Scholarly Saturday – The Partners for Change Outcome Management System

I have become increasingly interested in how we “measure” the work that we do as mental health clinicians. I have been doing some reading on this but with one glaring omission. The below article is a sample of the work of Dr. Scott Miller. Dr. Miller developed “Feedback Informed Treatment” and would also encourage you to spend time on his website. Thanks Dr. Jonathan Singer (aka Social Work Podcast) for pointing me in this direction.

This is great article that uses a brief measure for the therapeutic relationship that also provides user-friendly feedback for both client and therapist. This highlights the benefits of clinicians giving continuous feedback as part of the therapeutic process.
