Professional Quality of Life Elements Measure

According to their website…

“The ProQOL is the most commonly used measure of the negative and positive affects of helping others who experience suffering and trauma. The ProQOL has sub-scales for compassion satisfaction, burnout and compassion fatigue.”

This can certainly be a useful tool for practices to have a conversation about this critical issue. Compassion fatigue is an issue for many professions. It does need to be recognized and discussed as it can get worse.
