Welcome to my dissertation research page. You are here because you might be interested in participating in my study. My name is Sean Erreger and I am a licensed clinical social worker in upstate New York. I am pursuing my doctorate in social work (DSW) at Kutztown University with an emphasis on the impact of technology on decision making for behavioral health needs of those with individuals with developmental disabilities. It was important to me to hear from those who care for individuals daily.
I will be conducting focus groups with Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who utilize mobile technology to track an assess behavioral health needs. For the purposes of this study I am defining behavioral support needs as self harm, aggression, property destruction, and elopement (running away).
